My mix tape has only The Musgraves on it so far. I went to The Troubadour in Earls Court last night and heard The Musgraves for the first time.
The Troubadour started as a folk club in the 50's and has kept up with the times. Dylan and Hendrix played there in the 60's. Wednesday is the club's sessions night which features unsigned acts. It is almost invariably good. However, last night as I paid in The Musgraves were just being introduced and they were fantastic and raised the bar quite a bit with the standard of their music.
It was a great night and they are a great band who will go far.
