The performances will be broadcast live on Channel 4, as the remaining acts perform in three live shows from a studio in London.
Viewers will be able to vote by phone only – and the act or acts with the fewest votes will be asked to leave the competition.
In the live grand final, the prized record contract will be awarded to the band or singer songwriter with the most votes.
